MY STORY
Acting has always been a part of how I express myself. It’s been a creative outlet running through nearly my entire life. Beyond the joy of performing, it’s shaped who I am. Acting built my confidence in public speaking and also helped me overcome my dyslexia in a way that really resonated with me. That foundation is why I decided to major in film. I wanted to expand beyond what I already knew and learn how to operate behind the camera, not just in front of it, and to connect with the kind of people who care about telling stories the way I do. Being immersed in film pushed me to grow both as an artist and as an individual, and it's widened my community in ways acting alone hadn't. I want to use my strengths as a performer to help breathe life into characters and performances.

WHY GOODNIGHT JUDY?

When I first heard the concept of a coming-of-age rom-com set on Halloween night, I was immediately drawn in. But it was really the script itself that pulled me in deeper. It would be easy to look at Judy from a judgmental angle, but instead I found myself relating to her. I wanted to bring my own experience with a complicated relationship into her story, and into that sense of escapism through friendship that carries her through the night. I also felt a responsibility to get it right and to accurately capture what party life and female friendship actually look like in college, and that particular kind of freedom you only have at this age. Even though I haven't lived Judy's exact situation, I've lived in that party. I've watched my friends go through some version of this story. That familiarity made me want to tell it honestly.

WORST THING YOU’VE  DONE AT A PARTY?

I tried to drink from a wine bag at my first ever college party, and ended up just getting wine poured all over me and ended up drenched in wine- in the first 15 minutes of arriving.
