MY STORY
I’m a cinematographer in my final year at CSULB. I’ve grown up on the coast my whole life, exploring the beaches of Southern California. Capturing these landscapes on film during the pandemic was my first venture into photography, and eventually cinematography. People will tell you I’m a funny and flippant person, but filmmaking is the thing I take most seriously in life.
WHY GOODNIGHT JUDY?
Jack approached me to DP the film before a full script was even written. I said yes thinking nothing of it, and three months later when I found out we were chosen from so many applicants, my mind reeled. I am 23 years old and have been stuck in a “coming of age” mindset since COVID. I think making a coming of age movie will give me some the clarity I have been seeking
WORST THING YOU’VE DONE AT A PARTY?
After hiding for 20 minutes in a dark garage of a houseparty being raided by the cops, I stole everything out of the garage freezer, including two loaves of bread, half a bottle of Jagermeister, and coffee ice cream, and slipped out the side yard and enjoyed my treats as I walked an hour home.
